Merge files, highlight text, add notes, split page ranges, and turn images into a PDF without uploading your documents to a server.
Can I merge PDFs online without uploading them?
Yes. PDF Vault opens your selected PDFs in your browser and creates the merged file locally.
Can I highlight text in a PDF?
Yes, when the PDF contains selectable text. Enter the words or phrases you want to highlight and PDF Vault draws highlight boxes over matching text runs.
Can I add text to a PDF?
Yes. Use the Edit PDF tab to add one text note to a page position, then download the edited PDF.
Why does highlighting not work on scanned PDFs?
A scanned PDF is usually just an image of a page. It needs OCR before text can be found. OCR is planned as a future PDF Vault tool.
Can I split a PDF into selected pages?
Yes. Use the Split PDF tab to enter page numbers or ranges like 1,3,5-7, then download a new PDF with only those pages.
Can I convert images to PDF?
Yes. Use Images to PDF to turn JPG or PNG files into a single PDF with one image per page.
Is PDF Vault private?
PDF Vault processes files in your browser. Your selected PDFs and images are not uploaded to Pocklit servers.
Do I need an account to edit PDFs?
No. PDF Vault is free to use in the browser and does not require signup for the included PDF tools.
