The short version: GPA Vault does not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays in your browser and is gone the moment you close the tab.
What data we collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information. The calculators on GPA Vault run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No grades, names, course information or any other data you enter is ever sent to a server or stored anywhere.
We have no user accounts, no login system and no database. There is nothing to collect even if we wanted to.
Cookies and advertising
GPA Vault uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense may use cookies to show you relevant ads based on your browsing activity across the web. This is managed entirely by Google and is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com. You can also manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. This includes information like which pages are visited most, how long visitors stay and what devices they use. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify individual users.
Third party links
GPA Vault does not contain links to third party websites other than those necessary for site operation. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any external sites.
Children's privacy
GPA Vault is intended for college and high school students. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone. Since we collect no data at all, there is nothing specific to children to address beyond confirming that no data collection occurs.
Changes to this policy
If we update this privacy policy we will revise the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page occasionally. Continued use of GPA Vault after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
