Why we built this
Most online tools are cluttered, slow, or buried under popups asking you to sign up before you can do anything. We wanted something different a set of tools that respect your time and just work.
Pocklit started with GPA calculators for students and is growing into a broader toolkit. Every tool we add follows the same rule: it has to be genuinely useful and completely free.
What we stand for
Who is Pocklit for?
Pocklit is built for anyone who needs a fast, reliable answer without wading through bloated software or paywalled features. Right now that means mostly students people calculating semester GPAs before finals, checking what they need to pass a class, or planning out their academic path to graduation.
But it does not stop there. The same principle applies to every tool we build: if you need a quick, accurate answer and you do not want to create an account or install anything to get it, Pocklit is for you.
How Pocklit works
Every tool on Pocklit runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you type numbers into a calculator, the math happens on your device and the result appears instantly. Nothing is sent to any server. There is no backend processing your inputs, no database storing your grades, and no analytics tracking what you type.
This approach is faster, more private, and more reliable. The tools work even if your internet connection drops mid-session. Your data belongs to you and it stays with you.
What makes Pocklit different
Most calculator sites were built to generate ad revenue, not to actually help you. They are designed to look authoritative while hiding the real tool behind signup prompts, interstitial ads and deliberately confusing layouts. Once you sign up, your email gets added to a marketing list and the popups start.
We built Pocklit because we were frustrated with that experience. The tools here are straightforward, load fast on any device, and do not ask anything from you in return. No account, no email, no cookie consent wall blocking the page. Just the tool you came for.
What is coming next
GPA Vault is the first major tool set on Pocklit, covering six different calculators that handle everything from semester GPA to attendance tracking. TextVault adds text manipulation tools for writers, developers and students working with large amounts of text.
We are actively building more. If there is a tool you find yourself needing that you cannot find done well anywhere else, we want to know about it. Use the contact page to send a suggestion and we will seriously consider it for the roadmap.
